Floor games for children
With the help of floor games, it is possible to develop both cooperation skills, work with speech and language skills, and also promote the development of fine motor skills. Games are a wonderful tool for developing logical thinking and analytical skills. And the important thing is that one game can be used for different purposes!
The ability to follow the rules/instructions, "Now you", "wait", "roll the dice", "place the block" etc. instructions that must be followed during the game, is sometimes a huge challenge. To master it, countless other skills are needed - the child must acquire the ability to cooperate, concentrate, hear and understand the instructions, as well as be able to maintain attention, and this is not at all easy.
Games can be used to learn colors, numbers, shapes, name various objects and living creatures, learn actions, adjectives and other parts of speech ("take only the yellow ones", "put it on the card or under the card", "put it on the big circle", etc.).
Both when learning to play in a team to complete a task together, supporting each other, and on the contrary - when playing against each other, we make eye contact with a partner, learn to patiently wait our turn, let the next player wait their turn, passing on game objects or, if necessary, some specific instruction - the child develops cooperation skills.
