Masterkidz gears offer children easy access to real working engineering components. Each gear includes a central bearing which can be fixed into place using either a push in peg or screw and once tightened up, it will still rotate smoothly. Gear teeth have rounded ends to accommodate easy connection to other gears in a line or even at 90 degrees to each other. Gears come in a variety of different sizes too, promoting some excellent understanding of gear ratios. A gear chain provides scope for moving a turning force from one place to another and a wind handle can be press-fitted to the front of a selected gear to become 'the driver gear'. Sets include a bumper range of different gears, and every set includes 2 wind-handles. This handle gear must be kept indoor after use. Wooden handle cannot withstand lang-time exposure to water and sunlight.
