In this guessing game, players have to find out who they are looking for by asking clever questions. It teaches children to recognise features and describe them accurately.
Aim of the game
Who will be the first to guess the figure of the other player?
Preparation
Each player places the tiles on the wooden tray so that the faces of the figures are facing them. Then each player chooses a figure for the other player to guess. The tile with the figure they are looking for is placed in the gap of the wooden tray. Playing the game The younger player starts, then the players take turns. The active player tries to find the figure to be guessed by asking questions that can ONLY be answered with yes or no. The player then has to answer the question. With each answer, the group of ”suspects” becomes smaller, because with each answered question, the corresponding figures are flipped over until at some point only one figure remains.
Example: The question is: ”Does your figure have brown hair?”. If the answer is ”Yes”, all figures without brown hair can be flipped. If the answer is ”No”, all figures with brown hair are flipped instead. After each question and answer, the players switch and it is the other player’s turn to ask the question.
End of the game
The winner is the first player to guess the figure of the other player
