A fun, simple game that will help develop your child's spatial thinking and understanding of space. Look at the pictures and mark on the game board where the animal is in relation to one of the indicated objects - in front, behind, on top, below or inside.

For example,

a mouse is in a bucket, so the mouse token must be placed so that it is opposite both the bucket and the picture, which indicates the position "in front". The set includes: a game board for matching answers, 5 animal tokens and 20 double-sided cards with pictures. The goal of the game: to find the location of each animal in relation to one of the five objects in the picture.

Preparing for the game:

Place the game board in front of the child and explain the symbols on it, making sure that the child understands them. Then name all the objects and subjects. And make sure that the child also recognizes all the animals in the pictures. Game principle: each of the 24 cards shows 5 animals, which are placed in different positions in relation to one of the objects.

For example: - the cat is in (in) the house - the mouse is on the flytrap - the bear is in front of the tree - the frog is in (in) the bucket - the bird is in (in) the tree The child must arrange the animal tokens in the answer base, according to where each of the animals is located on the card being viewed. How to play: let the child choose one of the cards, then have him carefully examine it and answer the following five questions. 1. Where is the bear? 2. Where is the cat? 3. Where is the bird? 4. Where is the frog? 5. Where is the mouse? The child must find all the animals on the selected picture card and try to name where each of them is located in relation to one of the objects. The child should try to name the position based on the symbols on the base, and when he/she feels confident about his/her answer, the child places the corresponding animal token on the space opposite the corresponding object and the corresponding position symbol. At the end of the turn, the child turns the picture card over and checks the answers.
